It takes 10 minutes for teachers and students to get to know Scribo v3. In the first 10 minutes of using Scribo, teachers can create a Class, an Activity and get students engaged.
Scribo activities can be assigned to Google Classroom, Teams and Scribo direct in seconds via email and social media links.

Personalised feedback and interaction
Feedback only appears if students need to know about it. In the new AI feedback rules, the most important feedback is ordered first. Within each feedback section is a breakdown of categories with a colour code showing the order of importance.

From the Feedback panel, every element of feedback opens more detailed feedback points.
Click on a section and see where in your text the specific feedback points apply.
For selected sections, in-text help is shown. For example, long sentences will explain what is making the sentence long.
Right-click any sentence for an extended menu including Comment, Word Lookups, Sentence Explorer and our famous Sentence Rewrite feature. Scribo rewrites your sentences using your choice of words with a more active style. Give it a try – it's amazing how good your words can sound with a bit of a tweak.
Any underlined word can be clicked to show a range of synonyms, antonyms and examples. Everything is available in one screen and one click.
Scriblet opens writing support for younger, less confident writers with encouraging feedback and suggestions
Scriblet opens up a gamified space for younger writers and ESL students. Scriblet feedback is softer with fewer feedback items for students to focus on. Scriblet highlights to students what is important to fix first and to "have a go" at improving their writing bit by bit. There are four (4) avatars to choose from. Schools and Partners can supply their own avatars.
Scribo instant scoring saves teachers time and gives students instant visibility
Scribo gives students an estimated score from AI rules applied at the student year, genre and subject level. Seeing where marks have been lost is an instant heads-up to improve writing. Students don't have to wait to 'find out how they went', and teachers save time grading.
There are many reasons why marks get deducted and Scribo details them all. Students have the opportunity to try new ideas by following feedback and changing text to improve their score. Scribo opens an interactive learning experience for everyone.

Live monitoring lets teachers see what they need to know, quickly. With over 30 students in multiple classes, connecting to the rhythm of writing for each student, and the class, is super important and efficient.
In one tab, teachers can see where student writing is at and the scores they are achieving. Diving in for a closer look takes one click. Teachers have instant access to the Scribo feedback and the entire quick feedback/comment system that now records voice to text and voice feedback.

We revamped feedback so that everyone could be more collaborative and work faster. Teachers build threads of communication and encourage discussion really quickly, even by recording their voice. Students can do the same.
Highlight text and talk. That's how simple it is to create feedback and direct it to students. The feedback system is a complete collaboration opportunity with discussion threads just like in Teams, Facebook and WhatsApp.
You know what they say about feedback ... "Hours in the making, seconds in the taking". Scribo never loses teacher feedback.

We have improved feedback and how it flows. Now all feedback is supported by a discussion-chat system, recording interactions of text and audio as a discussion thread – just like in Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp.
Every comment is alerted to students and teachers to keep the conversation alive and flowing.

Step 3. Talk to text, type or record your feedback. Use the mode selector to change from text to audio.
Select the mode of feedback – talk to text, record as audio or type. Audio gives you one minute per recording. Students can reply the same way.

Versions and the student writing journey

Good writing is a journey, not only a destination. Seeing how the text came to be is the most enlightening story on the page.
Seeing how a story or essay text came together is really important. Fixing writing is a tough job so having instant access to the student journey is incredibly useful. Seeing the iterations of student thinking helps a coach build stronger journey skills.

Scribo now tracks the journey of every student, from their first text to where they are now. Every revision is stored and can be restored. Everyone can see the advice that Scribo has given and the changes students have made along their writing journey. It's like a journal of writing, showing every suggestion offered by Scribo and accepted by the student, and all teacher comments with changes made by students.
Where did we start and how did we get here? This is where the learning is recorded. Scribo tracks all types of system support offered and accepted like Grammar, Spelling, teacher and student comments, sentence rewrites, word changes and improvements.
It's so easy to track and see where students have been making changes and for what reason. Scribo also tracks the auto-grades progression, showing how students have self-improved their work.
Auto Score tracking
As students get Scribo auto scores along their writing timeline, Scribo stores the score history and the reasons why the scores were awarded. In history, students and teachers can track their editing improvements and see where more marks were awarded and why.
Version History
Revision history has been revamped as well. From the teacher or student menu in Scribo, click Versions.
Scribo creates multiple versions of text, all while edits take place.
Teachers can carousel through the journey students have taken, looking at where edits and improvements can be made.
Students can restore back to any point and move forwards. All feedback and comments are refreshed when versions are restored. Scribo makes all of this simple.

Awesome Reporting

Imagine a report that runs for students and/or parents, with advice, scoring logic and feedback. Now stop imagining because Scribo makes it real. Scribo puts everyone on the same page.
